Head-to-Head, Steel vs Steel

Simple tactical shooter

GAMEPLAY

Two opposing sides, red and blue, clash in battles over several levels. Each side has a base, the loss of which means defeat. At each base, units are produced at certain intervals, which are immediately advanced into battle in one or more directions. One of the fighters, almost the same as the others, is the player. To win you need to destroy the enemy base.

WEAPON

The player has 3 types of weapons at his disposal: a machine gun, a grenade launcher and a sniper rifle. Switching between weapons is done by pressing the buttons “1” “2” “3”.

FIRING RANGE

When you aim the sight at a target, the distance to it is displayed. If red means the target is out of range, green means shoot.

GLASSES

When enemy equipment is destroyed, both sides receive points. The player receives points in full, the enemy - 1/3, allies - 1/5. Points for destroying a unit are awarded not for finishing off, but in proportion to the damage caused.

Points are spent on:

- upgrade units;

- purchase of equipment for the player;

- purchase of units for an ally;

- acceleration of rebirth after death;

- repair of turrets;

- repair of equipment at the base;

- field repair of equipment.

AUTHORITY

Authority is awarded only for the player’s actions. The amount of authority awarded is equal to the number of points earned by the player. The player can spend authority to take control of any vehicle on the battlefield and to turn on/off the movement directions of units. In the future, authority will be spent on using all kinds of player abilities.

MENU

A menu with various functions is called up by pressing the "Tab" button.

PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT

Depending on the level, various types of military equipment are available to the player for purchase. Equipment for the player is purchased in the menu by pressing the “Buy” button. Pressing the “Build” button will purchase a unit of equipment not for you, but for your allies. Don't get confused!

UNIT UPGRADE

By selecting the “Upgrade” option in the menu, you will be able to improve the parameters of all subsequent units produced and purchased. The initial pumping level is 0, the maximum is 5.

The upgrade is carried out in five directions:

- Time build – reduces the time interval between unit production. When leveling up to 5, the interval between units being released is reduced to 70% of the base one.

- Health – increases the amount of health of units. Each level increases the units' base health by 10%.

- Speed shot – increases the rate of fire of units. Each level increases the rate of fire of units by 10%.

- Accuracy – improves shooting accuracy. Each level reduces the spread when shooting by 25%. When leveling up to 4, the shooting spread of all units becomes 0.

- Speed – increases the speed of movement and rotation of units. Each level increases movement and turning speed by 10%.

The cost of the upgrade increases with each level. For some units, the cost increases less than for others; accordingly, some units are more profitable to upgrade.

REPAIR OF PLAYER EQUIPMENT

The cost of a complete equipment repair is equal to 50% of the cost of purchasing a new unit. The number of points deducted is proportional to the amount of health restored.

Repair can be carried out in 2 options: “field” and “factory”.

Factory repairs are performed by pressing the “Repair” button in the menu and are available no more than once every 60 seconds within a radius of 50 meters from the base. Factory repairs are carried out instantly.

Field repairs are performed by pressing the “R” button on damaged equipment. During field repairs, equipment is carried out at a rate of 10 health units per second and the duration of the repair depends on the degree of damage to the equipment. The health of the vehicle is restored upon completion of repairs.

Treatment of the player’s health is carried out only by “factory” repairs.

Allies can also be healed and repaired.

DEATH OF A PLAYER

After death, the player is reborn after 20 seconds near the base. You can be reborn faster by spending points. The number of points spent on accelerated rebirth is equal to the number of remaining seconds.

REPAIR OF TURELS

Destroyed turrets can be repaired. To do this, the player in the form of an infantryman must approach the turret and hold the “E” button. Repairing a heavy turret costs 50 points and takes 15 seconds, a light turret costs 25 points and 12 seconds. Points are deducted when a repair attempt is started. If the repair is interrupted, the points spent will not be returned.

ROUTES

Units produced at the base are sent along routes one by one. All routes are initially open. By spending a number of points equal to the cost of one unit, this type of unit can be prohibited or allowed to go to any route, which will increase the concentration of this type of unit on another direction. In this way, the player can create a local advantage in a separate section of the level. This is important in some situations.

Routes are managed by pressing the “Routes” button in the menu.
